We are all busy people looking to make the most of our precious past times, how much time have we invested in our quest to find what we are looking for?

After 5-6 years of using this site we have definitely improved our techniques of spotting the fake or the time wasters, but it's impossible to rule these problems out all together with the current system

But what about another option, the unreliable or poor performance? Surely it's about time we had access to a more structured system that allowed all ratings good and bad to be made non optional and viewable!

The dreaded searching is the worst part of swinging, we'v all experienced it and we all will again, the genuine are wonderful, the current open to abuse optional verification system simply holds no value.

Surely something can be done to support the genuine in return??

Problem is anyone with the hump/a grudge/or someone that's just pissed off at being tithes down could leave a bad veri and there would be no way to tell if they were telling the truth or not.

Leaving bad reviews:

One persons word against the other - who knows the real truth, and who is going to moderate and detect who is telling lies?

Therefore pointless.

Totally agree, then there would be an option to dispute it, and it would remain as disputed, but if any one profile had successions of disputed verifications surely that would enable other potential interested parties to make a better judgement call??

pleasing and teasing agreed to meet up with via a skype call.. they didn't turn up..

all lies.. but very easily done, leaving you with a bad "dispute" to sort out.

imagine if you ignored peoples messages or turned them down.. they might decide to tell lies.. suddenly you have 22 disputes to sort out..

again, who going to sort all that out?

Im a vindictive cow and I dont like someone, so I get 5 of my mates to send nasty verifications. All 5 get disputed, but that person still has 5 disputed verifications on their profile. Because of that everyone else will be put off their profile - and my work here is done...

So the option is what?? Do nothing and allow the genuine to be forever messed about and have to waste a huge amount of time to find the rare gem?

Seems the odds are stacked against the genuine???

I won't meet people without a number of met in person veris showing. My selection process, works for me.

As just the green tick means nothing to me.

Any attempt to have negative feedback would stop me using this site as i get abuse for politely declining & deleting without responding.

Its impossible to police & simply not practical.

Why would anyone leave a bad veri? I might have a bad meet but that could be as much my fault as theirs, and then we'd both end up with a bad veri.

As for no shows, report and block and move on.

As has been said it easy to give bad ratings out of spite or vindictiveness. Also somebody with bad ratings or verifications would just delete their account and make a new one.

I think the present system is fine, just take everything said in a veri with a pinch of salt.... People tend to be over generous.

Something which one of my fave ladies does and did before meeting me first time was message those who'd veried me and asked about me. Gave her extra insight and reassurance.

Granted, the current system may have its flaws, but for those that want to show their veris, if you read them through and look for consistency. If multiple veris are saying their genuine, then there's a good chance they are.......

Such a system would never work.

As a single female, I get a large number of meet requests, and (of course) I have to out the vast majority. It would only take a few of the ed-out ones to feel petty, vindictive or spiteful, for me to quickly get a reputation of not being genuiune.

Personally, I don't use the verification as any indication of whether someone is worth meeting or not. Other people's opinions are worthless to me. I have an excellent selection process, which never lets me down.

I always advise anyone who is 'forever' having problems spotting fakes, finding genuine folk and constantly having their time wasted (in their words) to revisit their selection and contact strategies.

Its honestly not hard to avoid 99% of the problems people seem to have.

I have met guys who have lots of rave reviews only to discover that we did not click sexually. If I then gave that guy a poor critique it could discourage a woman from meeting him who his methods might work with.

It's incredibly subjective and what works with one person can be a major turn off for the next. Giving reviews based on poor performance as you suggest will not actually make finding a playmate easier, it will make it more difficult!

Added to which you would have to make it the rule that all veris are shown to prevent people hiding any poor ones. I have sonera veris that I will never show because the writer (with no intent) has put in identifying info that I prefer not to have on the internet.

I like idea of compulsory verify. Or something similar. Number of meets I've had I leave a verify their choice if want display it but I get nothing back. I'm sure if was bad review people wouldn't display but then could make it compulsory all verifys are visible as I find it odd people display some and not others.

I don't show veri's with to much attention to what happened. Compulsory veri's would mean i would have to block them to remove the veri & id have to keep in touch off site.

This makes things like reporting someone for a no show harder & what happens if someone does you a veri without having met you? It happens already so admin would be working much longer to sift through.

I don't think its this sites' nor admins responsibility to do this. As an adult i manage my profile.

Forced veris would mean everyone had a second profile for those they meet that arnt friends, keeping their main profile for attracting people.

My only suggestion is to remove the verifications via cam and phone so only people who actually meet in person are verified. The green tick would then confirm that a person/couple has actually met another from the site and is, in theory, genuine. Choosing not to display the content of the verification would still remain an option but we would all know that the profile is genuniely verified.

I sympathise (and empathise) with the OP but I'm doubtful that compulsary negative/positive feedback is the answer. As has been suggested before: contact those who have verified your potential playmate.

Meet in person veris don't always work. We set meet up with guy who had 7 meet in persons in last 3 months but failed to show, exchanged calls, text etc

Sorry disagree with your last paragraph, we wouldn't divulge anything about our meets to a random person messaging, claiming wanting to potentially meet said person, what's to say they not bunny boiler/stalker.

I doubt there's a perfect answer to this but the more corroboration you're able to get the more likely it is that you're able to screen a potential playmate. You need not discuss the private and intimate details of your meet but simply confirm that they turned up as arranged.

We should also remember that we all have lives off fab so someone having a genuine domestic crisis should not be named and shamed through no fault of their own or for a problem not of their making. Emergencies will happen and we've no way of really telling when we are being lied to or fed weak excuses. Timewasters are, unfortuneately, an occupational hazard on here!

Seriously? I'd find that massively intrusive and anyone who messaged us asking about someone we'd verified would get very short shrift...
