There seems to be a problem with mail notifications not working to hotmail addresses over the past 24hrs

We're just looking into this.

I have been messaging back and forward with a friend on here all day. Didnt notice I hadnt been getting any notifications.

But I just checked and still none for any of the messages today.

I use hotmail for my notifications if that helps to narrow it down??

There's still an issue with hotmail notifications that we're working on with the people there.

In the meantime if you want a mail service that works with Fab and is actually reliable you should try googlemail.com

It's not Fab related, several computer forums have numerous threads running re Hotmail issues, seems it's an issue at MS end.

I have email notifications for various sites, none have come through today.

Yes thanks for that, it does look like there have been problems with hotmail servers today. Hopefully this will clear up over the next 24-48rs.

Everyone should still get onto Googlemail though

We have heard back from hotmail:

"I apologize for the delay in responding to your email. We have received a large number of support requests lately."

...

"We have conducted an investigation into the emails originating from your IP space and we have implemented a fix for your deliverability problem. This fix may take 24 - 48 hours to replicate completely throughout our system. "

I noticed earlier we wasn't receiving email notification, but now it seems just fine, email arriving at the right time.

I thought I was suddenly popular cos I signed into my email and saw I had almost 50 emails from here til I dawned in me they are for the past week
