FabSwingers.com forum: Option to include people I've previously contacted in search!

Just talking with G about this, it would be great if when we clicked search, we had a tick box that says "Exclude previously contacted members", so that the search results never show people you have already contacted!

The trouble atm is that if you delete a message from a user and maybe if they delete yours, that user now comes up as "never contacted", even when you click on their profile. Thats a problem because then you think "oh, this girls nice" and send a message, only to find you contacted her before and shes just changed her pics/profile a bit.

We would LOVE that option! C xx

I get mail from people outside my filters.... then look and it says I've mailed the 1 year ago... and I've def deleted the mail

Positive. If the person has deleted their message that you sent them, and you have deleted the message you sent them from your sent box, it shows up as never been sent before on the main profiles page. I can confirm this with a few people actually :p C xx

The way this works doesn't use the messages. Deleting the messages or the sent message has no effect.

If you contact us privately with the usernames we can look into what's going on in your case

Well I have deleted the one in my inbox and the one you sent. There is an icon on your profile though that says we have mailed each other.

I do, yeah! So odd, I was pretty sure before it didn't do that for me?

But alas, even still the thread was about searching (using the search, duh!) and allowing us the option of excluding or including people we have messaged right there, so they don't show up at all! :p C xx
