block not working

have blocked someone three times now and signed out of site and back on and can still see members typing

I think the block just works to stop them viewing your profile or contacting you.It doesnt stop you seeing their posts on the forum (or them seeing yours) so would assume the same goes for the cam rooms.

No it should stop you from being able to see what they say in the cam rooms.

did you block them in chat? it only stops you seeing each other in chat if you do it in the chat room, putting their name in the block list just stops them mailing you

Depends where you block them, you cant block someone in the forum x.

You can block someone in forum via clicking on profile, but ridiculously you can still see there posts and they can use forums to get round their blocks.

A block should be uniformed across the site, block means no form of contact, whether it be messages/chat room or forum.

People use excuse a thread becomes disjointed if a person blocked, it only becomes disjointed to person who has blocked someone, a chat in room becomes disjointed, causes no issues at all so can't see why it causes issue in forums.
