Block friend invites please?

Grantham.

Am sure others have the same problem with being added without having chatted ( have seen numerous comments on many profiles saying do not add me without chatting ), so, I, for one ( you may not feel the same, but It does nothing to flatter my ego, as I don't need nor want it ), ask please may this be seriously considered?

I find this, over the last 4 years on here, to be is an invite to picture collectors and an unwanted button.

Not looking for comments am just asking admin if they would condsider this

I don't get this, I don't look at friends invites unless someone has asked me if they can send me one. You cannot add anyone to your list without clicking accept and if you just leave them sitting in box it means they can't send another so what's the problem ?

because I say that I don't accept them but I still get them too many times, and it distracts me from chatting to people I know when I don't want them...simples. I was simply asking if it could be disabled, same as blocking new members or people without profile pictures, etc., etc.,

I would love this to be disabled as an option that is all, so I could opt in or out from it.

I'm just trying to understand things , why do they distract you from chatting. It's a number in a box on a screen that you ignore unless you want to click accept.

Because they keep appearing.

I don't want them and to be honest I was asking admin a question about the site and really not interested in qualifying my question to others, I apprecaitte others may have differing opinions but I still do not want them, easy enough to give an option to allow or block them...that way let me block inittialy, like as with new members or people with no profile pictures.

I just find it an annoyance that I would rather do without.
