Option to like people's status

Just a thought.....it might be good to have the option to like people's status, just like on Facebook

I think making the update page more interactive could be fun and lead into more meets/friendships etc.

Trouble is every time this is suggested people seem to get upset and say this is not Facebook.

I feel we are in the minority.

Like button is a good idea, it lets your friends know that you do actually read what they put on as a status.
