mailbox alterations

Hiya,

I'm a developer too so just like to say thanks for the hard work and good job!

My idea is that the mailbox shouldn't show messages, it should show threads.

You'd have a query on the back end which simply selects all messages and groups all messages together and displays people someone has been talking to. Ordered by date of the last message.

So for example, if I taked to Jane and Sophie two times each, I'd only see one record for Jane and one for Sophie in my mailbox, not four messages.

To see the messages, I'd click on Jane... Then I'd see the messages in chronological order.

Would be brilliant.

Don't be sorry the sure supporter version is similar but op suggestion is better more similar to how texts appear on phone as opposed to how is now as even though shows prev messages if u delete some it does to show on history so op version is better u font need try remember who talked bout what u just look back

only one problem though it dusnt show pictures, ect so the need to save messages. plus if they change the subject of the message you dont see all the convo.

But only related messages. If you send a brand new message with a new title it doesn't show previous messages.

and its annoying cause the subject usually doesn't relate lol

It shouldn't be hard to do, but would it would take a lot of time lol

Great idea, you should also be able to search you mailbox (like in forums) and order or organise via user name or attachments rather than the date default.
