Messaging system!

PLEEEESE can the messaging system be set up so that all posts from each person are threaded under the same 'top post' so one doesn't have to continually delete posts to keep everyone we are talking to visible!!

If you click on the most recent message - you can see the whole conversation!

It already exists and you can delete all but the current message. Simples!

i like the idea also a filter on distance may be helpful getting messages for people far away its pointless unless you're traveling there.

Hasn't the system changed recently with saved messages? You used to be able to see both sides of the conversation, but now you only see the other person.

It only displays a certain amount of messages, not the full thread.

it will only display messages with exact same subject from same person.

currently the system is similar to e-mail, where they group messages with same subject & sender.

but i think would be better is a private message type system, where it just shows you all the people you are messaging

Yes, but that's the point - you have to keep continually deleting 'header' posts (taking care not to delete the only one of 10 that has the face pic attached....etc)
