"That is a fair one as Yorkshire is a big ole area and part of it even classes as 'north west' on this site-BD, HX & HD are all in West Yorkshire, not the North West,we live right in the middle on this imaginary border, frustrating at times as every meet we post we have to do it in duplicate!" Admin x" for example I would like it when looking for meets and events and also in the chatrooms, Yorkshire is one big area, dosent have to be north, east, south and west Yorkshire just a Yorkshire one would much be appreciated. as some people say it brings people who are quite abit away which is no good, now I know there is a distance section but I would like a Yorkshire section for the chatrooms especially I think | |||

The mobile web app doesn't have the map, nor does it work if you use Firefox.
Also, the OP isn't talking about searching profiles, rather the meets and events which at the moment Yorkshire can be north east, north west and East Midlands. "We'll be changing meets/events in a future update so they use the proximity type search that the advanced search page uses

I live in Yorkshire, but I have many good friends from Lancashire (which is only 10 miles away) and I want all my friends together in the same chat room! In all seriousness, I would support further regional divisions of the chatrooms, if/(when) we get to a position where the chatrooms are regularlly 'full'. However, Northern Chat is rarely full - maybe only one night per month. Therefore, there is no real need to divide it in two. | |||
