It's been pointed out to the people who don't want to use the function that the new verifications summary can be opted out of

Can I please request to have the option to opt out of the showing everything in the update section ? I can't see why I have to be shown as being now a site supporter, that I have shown a verification or decided to show my verification summary (if I had)

It just seems to be taking up unnecessary space on the server for little or no purpose - those who like to use this can opt in anyone else can see this info if they read the profile they are interested in
