taffs well

Question for the owners of this site, does Fab Swingers run off PHP, if it does can you explain the mitigations you are taking to fix the severe security issue identified that could result in all the data in FAB being made available to foreign actors please. The company I work for have just downed all tools and put 200 devs on fixing this issue and pulled a number fo services offline until it is resolved.

Agree. I think they either need to respond to let users now they’ve applied the patch, or they need to take the site offline.

It’s an extremely serious security risk.

Governments are pulling their websites over this too. I would imagine handiness might need to do some work behind the scenes to upgrade, otherwise they could find themselves in trouble and susceptible to some large fines if there’s a leak that breaches GDOR legislation.

Agreed. Considering they never answer emails, I'd start taking down private photos and "friends only" photos. If you don't want it made public, take it down for the moment.

Agree. If it’s not acknowledged by the site owners, think leaving the site might be the only sensible option.

I think people are generally underestimating how serious this security flaw is.

This is really good to hear. If I was admin, I'd be proactive and put up a pinned forum message to that effect.
