Have seen it mentioned as a good idea as well by a fair few people..

Why do we have a sent message folder? People (some) spend far top much time obsessing over sent messages that have been read and not deleted/deleted without being read etc.

Surely it would make sense to get shot altogether so folk can concentrate on their inbox???

Then you will get people moaning about not knowing if the messages actually got sent.

Also then you can see who you sent a message to recently either.

Just get rid of the bit that tells you whether the message is unread, read or deleted. That's the part that people obsess over.

The whole mail feature needs a revamp really, its a pile of poo. Only being able to see the 1st page of messages is nonsense. I'm guessing this was put in to encourage housekeeping, but there are more efficient ways of doing it.

I thought it was being revamped. But the first attempt didn't go down well then the second one was never available on mobile so I've not seen it.

It's being tweaked but only really to identify what category of person is sending you a message. I'm pretty sure it doesn't give you the ability to :

View anything other than what's in front of your eyes

See the date you received the message

Sort by date/user etc.

it even removes their name if they leave leaving you doing a Miss Marple to work it out lol

Lets face it, if it doesn't show you how close everyone is too you, nor when they are online/on cam, it isn't a priority.

The priorities now see to be uploading vids, this place gets more like a porn site daily.

But then I guess telling umpteen men exactly how close you are, how often you are online and when you're on cam, how many pics &/or vids they can see; sells site supporters memberships.

Where as ease of inbox, discretion in when you are online, and keeping your home private is simply just whims.

This time next year it will be fabfreeporn and not swingers.

But how else can you Copy and Paste your generic message to someone else unless you can get it out of your Sent Items?

This is something we are working towards. We shouldn't have given a timescale last year because we have around 100 projects on the go and other stuff gets bumped.

We'll post to the forums when we have something for everyone to look at

Hahahha!! Yes. Someone's previous suggestion of keeping the sent items just not having the read/deleted bit next to it was a better idea than ditching it completely x

I think taking out the read/deleted bit would at least be a start. Maybe they can introduce a different type of site supporter, one for forums use and decent mailbox/privacy options. Guess something would be done then

we must be the only people who find it useful...we don't obsess about it but if we message people, can see it's been read then receive no response, it helps us to work out if people are likely to actually meet...keeps the friend list tidy...lol

Wow...if I was so unhappy with something I wouldn't pay or even stay on the site.

What you deem as trivial or unimportant other people seem to like.

As in life we can't always have everything we want and get it when we ask for it.
