"Isn't swinging people meeting to have sex with each other?" There is definitely a distinction, as Edible Kink has articulated above, much better than I did lol

"Fab shaggers. Job done. They already have Fab guys, so replicating that shouldnt be hard for shagging, which as you say, theoretically should leave the swinging site for people who actually want to swing. One on one meets is not swinging and do make a mockery of what a swinging site should be about, so that would be a good distinction." “Fab Shaggers”… I like it 👌🏼

"Interesting thought OP. Another option could have 2 distinct areas on here... Swingers and shaggers... All couples accounts get automatically replicated into the swingers section then it's their choice whether or not to remove themselves from the shaggers section. Guessing that some singles see themselves as swingers so they can be in one or the other, not both (often see posts and profiles from singles saying they are not swingers). With the amount of guys who message who are just looking for free sex I think the OP is onto something here. " Why not both? Surely people can want different things at different times?

Maybe have the option to flit between the two depending on current desires?

"OP - do you think such a change would in any way change the experience for singles, especially men? Would they all of a sudden find it easier to get meets, or would there be an even greater disparity between the genders and an increase of dissatisfaction amongst them? Because I suspect it would be the latter myself. 🤷♂️ Obi" I’m not sure which one of my two suggestions you are referring to. My suggestion about separation isn’t about making it easier for singles, it’s primarily about making it easier for everyone to find what they’re looking for and giving the original community their site back. I see a lot of frustration from true swingers on a daily basis on here about the direction the site has gone. My suggestion about females being solely responsible for contact initiation would definitely improve the experience for singles, primarily women, but also the decent men.

"I think it’s about time the site had a clearly defined split between the original ‘swinging’ side and the now prominent ‘sex’ side. Maybe develop a new site for us people who just want to find other people to have sex with, and the swingers/club visitors et al can have their original site back all to themselves again. Also.. make all communication have to be female initiated. Doesn’t have to be a full message, but some sort of indicator of interest… maybe a male can’t send a message unless they’ve been winked at, or are on the recipient’s hotlist.. something along those lines. " This is rubbish. I was on the site near the beginning and plenty of people were “just” meeting for sex, in fact probably more common than now if anything. It is hard to define swinging but it certainly isn’t just about going to clubs and events.

" The first - having separate sites. To me it would be pointless. Even a site set up for singles wouldn't change anything. It may attract more men to it then here, especially those that struggle on Fab. But it would probably create a greater gender imbalance than already exists on Fab, leading to more frustration and complaints about not getting meets or engagement. People unsuccessful on there would simply migrate back under the impression that a lot of Fab single males had left, creating a loop of constant coming and going and new profiles. It doesn't really matter what people view as a true 'swinger' and who is here just for 1 on 1 sex hook ups. People can already see that based on who they're looking for in profiles. Although I suspect many guys add couples to their list to boost their chances even though they're likely less keen on a threesome or another guy being present. Casual hook up sites for singles already exist and plenty say they have more luck on Tinder. Which makes me wonder why, if that's a more successful avenue, they're even here in the first place. 🤷♂️ Obi

" As a couple we joined this site to find couples to swap with as that is what we see as the definition of swinging. People using it to have 1-1 sex to us is not swinging, we are some of the couples that get frustrated with the amount of seemingly 1-1 seekers rather than swingers. Young adults go out at the weekend night clubbing and hook up, have one night stands etc and I wouldn’t call them swingers.
