Trying again due to formatting issues.

We all know the problem with unsolicited messages from the wrong type of people and we've all made it very clear in our profiles and banner messages that accompany our appearance in search results as to what we're loooing for, only for people to completely ignore.

So I'd like to propose the following which I believe would greatly enhance enjoyment of the site *as well as* improve etiquette so that issues with undesirable communication reduces - improving the Fab experience for everyone on the site.

MINIMUM WORD COUNT

This would eradicate the 'how are you?', 'meet now' and 'sexy profile' type messages.

BLOCK ON NO VERIFICATIONS FOR GENDER

If the person has not got verifications for a specific gender or for couples then they cannot contact you.

BLOCK ON OPEN AGE RANGE & OUTSIDE RANGE

Most single men leave their profiles as looking for 18-99 year olds. Removing this option requires them to think about a more realistic and appropriate age range for their tastes.

If nothing else, allow users to block members who state 18-99 in their profile.

GENDER FILTER ON SENDER

If the profile of the person messaging you does not have your gender listed under 'looking for' then they are automatically blocked in the same way as when you block certain genders.

Yes, they could edit their profile to include your gender but many won't - particularly those single men who think being into anything other than genetic females is shameful.

CODE WORDS

We've all seen the profiles that say 'reply with X in the title so I know you've read my profile' and we understand their frustration. We also know that Fab's messaging system can block messages containing certain words so I'd like to see a filter where messages must INCLUDE certain words in order to be sent.

Once you've selected this option you are asked for your keywords - ideally three of them. You enter words that are unlikely to be written by accident such as 'meteor', pear', 'baboon' and you then bury these words in your profile so that it has to be red in order for the individual to find the keywords in order to send you a message.

It could work with just one keyword but I recommend three to make sure.

Nice thought but I can’t imagine fab doing it it’s only now they changed the messaging feature & I’ve had a profile on here for about 7 years

We can filter by race and various other things.But as of now no option for body type or specifically for searching for men...size. makes those of us who are looking for certain body types or VWE it would make life easier.

I'd add also, for guys, cut or uncut and if shaved smooth below or not. A huge time saving if such a filter.

For women too - shaved below and breast size. Not everyone likes huge tits!

The problem with that is that both body type and dick size are self decided.

Some people say they're hung. Many aren't even by the most generous of definitions.

Likewise one person's curvy is another's 'fat' or large, and the term 'average' tells people nothing.

If you had filters available that prevented people from messaging unless they ticked a box saying they were gym fit or had a 10" knob, guess what they'd do. 🤷‍♂️

Considering how many men pretend to be couples and bi men pretend they are straight do you honestly think they'd be honest on completing the filter questions?

They tell you what they think you want to hear. It would be totally unworkable.
