Your mailbox has four new links across the top, to help you find things a bit faster.

ALL is your whole inbox, just as it's always been.

INTRODUCTIONS picks out messages from people you've never messaged yourself, the new folks saying hello.

CONVERSATIONS gathers everyone you've messaged before, so your ongoing chats sit together and don't get lost.

And FRIENDS shows messages from friends only, meaning the two of you have added each other.

A small confession about the FRIENDS inbox. It isn't new at all. It's been sitting there for a few years, buried in the menu where almost nobody ever found it. INTRODUCTIONS and CONVERSATIONS are new. So all four are now a single tap from your mailbox, on your phone and on desktop.

One thing to expect is that replying to someone in INTRODUCTIONS moves them across to CONVERSATIONS, so INTRODUCTIONS tidies itself up as you go.

We think this change makes the mailbox easier to manage and keep track ongoing conversations, particularly if you get lots of messages.
