Just think the separate forum lists would help those who have different interests, it doesn’t have to be a completely different forum just different categories

So how would having different categories stop that from happening?

There are lots of categories here already that get very very few comments and can sometimes go for days without anyone responding.

Having gender specific categories will only succeed in diluting the whole idea of an open forum.

In fairness a women and couples only section would be simple- create it and dont give single males access rights to it, so they wouldnt even see it to get upset about being excluded from it.

You stop single men being able to post in the women’s and couples forums, and give single men a forum where only single men can post. Thus women and couples can have discussions without the inevitable men jumping in to put in their two Kenneth, or answer with what their wives think.

Poor old single males getting tarred with the same brush again. Lol. Unfortunately without the number of single guys paying site supporter fees , this site would probably no longer be what it is , if it was still a site at all. We aren't all the same, just a few who spoil it for the rest.
