My understanding is that you can write to admin to ask for it to be lifted - you won't hear back, but it might be lifted in a few days if you do that.

Well I have a Fabguys forum ban despite never having posted on it. I've tried, but I can't post on their forums. No idea why. Zero response from admin. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think im the same. Made one post that said a certain 3 letter phrase, which I see all the time. Got a warning email from admin, which I accept. But since then can’t post a status. I’ve sent two emails asking for clarity, but got no reply.

Name and shame, drugs, criticism of site...... there's a long list of stuff.

I always re read whatever I post on threads and status run it through the old noggin make sure it's not offensive or could break rules.

My rule is

Don't post when angry

Don't post when d*unk

always best to use the contact link and ask Admin to review... if any error has been made they will reinstate the option, if however the ban stays in place you can assume that the ban is in place for a breach of the rules eg drugs, asking for money, or any activity that is illegal

Asking for money, drugs, name and shame, having a pop at another member, anything illegal, are some of the reasons you could be blocked from using the status. Depending on what it was and any previous rule breaks depends on if it is permanent or not. The post above explains what to do if you want a review.
