I was approached yesterday by a couple with many nice verifications, with an invitation to join them for a mmmmf meet. Having checked out their profile, I accepted, arrangements were made but it invited a reasonably long drive. Upon reaching their hometown at a given time I would be given the address. Of course after me driving it there, it never happened. Bigger fool me!

They eventually came back online about half an hour later but ignored any attempt by me to contact them. They have subsequently blocked ME and changed their profile name.

I wasted a whole Saturday night not too mention the price of fuel!

I reported them but have little faith anything will be done, I even asked Fab to look at the messages as my evidence.

Sorry to hear. Happened to me yesterday afternoon. Female said she had been stood up and was therefore free for a fuck in a hotel in Glasgow. Told me which one but when I got there she stopped replying.

Thus morning I have been blocked by user.

Me thinks they were just getting off on the idea of a meet not the reality

Plans change but you don't f#&k people about. The fact they have also changed the profile name speaks volumes. Males are easy targets.

Sadly this seems tpo be the norm these days. Most of it is single blokes masquerading as females with bogus pics. Even more sadly the site doesn't seem to want to clamp down on these wasters, andit also bring into disrepute the real genuine single guys who then have hell on trying to find a genuine meet.

Always report inappropriate behaviour to Admin, as you have done OP. They always investigate. It does help to keep as much communication on Fab, rather than off-site, as it's available to be seen.

Sad as it is the hear ..to many this experience is the norm...I've stopped travelling beyond a certain distance as had a few similar instances where once in their area they go off radar,block you etc,some with plenty of verification too so I read very little into those these days...

I know people reserve the right to have a change of mind,and sometimes life throws up unexpected events ..but have the decency to tell people...

Really sorry you had to suffer the rudeness and total inconsiderate behaviour of this couple.

There's no excuse but remember you are a better person than them.

This type of behaviour is the scourge of FAB and remember it is not exclusively aimed at single guys.

Would like to offer some advice but we can't as it can happen to singles and couples alike, at anytime.

Will probably stick to clubs as you get your face known and private party invites seem come along.

Thank you all for your kind words and support. I'll admit it made me feel stupid at first but I'd simply been strung along.

I'm pleased to say that I managed to refrain from saying anything rude in my messaging, even though I felt like it! I hope Fab will look at those messages and take the necessary action. 🙏
