Would you like to see a few more options?

Personally we feel a simple bi/straight regardless of gender would be useful.

Could be utilised either way depending on the users orientation..

Yes, distance would be good and a tightening up of the no pic filter. So they can't send a message with friends pics only, or add a pic and then straight delete it.

.

Yep what's the point?. I had a man message me the other day 300 miles away, come on that's never gonna happen

Then they get all offended lol when you hit delete.

Same with shadows, I instantly delete messages from them, so then 5 mins later they message again with a pic.

I'm like why didn't you do that in the first place, delete and block.

I always assume they're hiding something too. We can all add pics that won't identify us

Here's a thing.... Not everyone spends all their time in their post code 24/7. The site doesn't have a "I'm in this postcode monthly to Fri but this other one, hundreds of miles away the rest of the time"

Then maybe people should put in the status/bio that they're in that area regularly.

Many don't even come anywhere close to where I am and still want to message me (yes I've asked in the past).

If it's not mentioned that they work nearby regularly etc I just delete, because experience has shown they want more pics or to wank on cam etc.

What’s in it for the site? That’s the question you should be asking, and if the answer is nothing, or not much, then it won’t happen.

Fab generates xx revenue given its prevailing functionalities, end of discussion unfortunately.

Keeping members happy would be a good start so people can simply be online without being bombarded by people they don’t want to meet or interact with, once people stop renewing memberships or leave thats when its too late to do something about it.

An honest answer to what's in it for the site.

Member retention, there have been 2 new sites in the past 24 months that we know of but obviously can't name, offering greater functionality, validation and security.. So a very limited investment of time would be prudent in reducing the slow migration as we've seen, as friends have and their contributions here have ceased.

Fab has never cared about membership retention, this was obvious during Covid when several clubs asked Fab to help them; to no avail.

A couple of these clubs survived lockdown, others didn’t, thus sadly no longer exist; said ‘survivors’ vowed never to darken their door with Fab again and never have!

As I said, akin to any social media, as long as it’s generating a revenue acceptable to their owner / shareholder then why bother spending on functionality or anything else for that matter.

Fair play to Fab, they’ve a business model that works, just look how many are on line as you read!

Don't really understand the angle entirely, clubs are a separate entity..

Don't really believe it would involve "spending" other than a couple of minutes..

The sheer number of threads related to changes that would benefit users tells the tale.

That was my point or “angle” as you suggest.

By the way, I agree with your point entirely re other sites and functionality, genuinely wasn’t calling your view into question; we’re on the same page

The owners do read all ideas and feedback posted here, so your comments are important to them. Keep them coming, including the specifics of how you'd like things to get changed. In this instance for filters. It is allied to search filters, as making them more granular, lets people find those more easil, who share their tastes

Good to hear, filters are a touch draconian at the moment honestly x

Actually on consideration, your response is inaccurate.

We can specify bi on searches but not on filters, are we wrong 🤷😘

The search engine could use more options, e.g., dominant or submissive
