I know a lot have problems with emails drowning in messages, so when they reply to someone by the time they come back it can sometimes be buried hundreds deep

Maybe a development suggestion would be to split the mailbox into “replies” and “new messages”

I know you can, and I guess that’s a workaround for those that think about it but replies from people you are talking to or might be interested in get buried in inboxes if you don’t

Would you like the idea of having a sub-divided inbox? Eg.A Friends box; and potentially 1 or several subdivisions of your inbox?

Perhaps it could work in conjunction with self-created categories of your contacts too?

This could support people being able to spot the emails they want better
