Change Meet ‘regions’

I’d love to be able to post and search for posted meets within a defined radius of my location (or a selected postcode), instead of them being defined and grouped within regions. I’m right at the top of the South West, so will never be interested in meets in Cornwall unless I’m visiting.

On the other hand, Worcester is only 20 min away but I have to search a different region and again have to wade through everything.

If instead I could search based on a radius from a specific location, that would ignore regional boundaries AND filter out everyone too far away.

This is a really good idea! Similar to how you'd search for members but for meets and events.

We have a Similar issue of living in South Wales, we wouldn't really travel to North Wales, but we could spot meets just over the Prince of Wales bridge!

Be a great way to bring more user connection to the site x

1 option, is to use the Advanced Search option, searching from a postcode and include the options for people who are looking to 'Meet Today'

You can include people who match your age interest and looking for people like you. Setting the distance from the postcode, you'd get anyone from any region, within that chosen radius.

Yeah its a really good feature for on the day planning or last minute meets.

I think what the OP means to implement that same system to the meets and events search so users can plan ahead in advance x

This. The functionality is already in the user search area, just transpose it over to the meets/events search area.
