It's not mandatory to have pictures.

You can use filters to stop them mailing you though and search filters to rule out people with no public pictures.

I understand wanting a profile picture at least... doesn't even have to be a face

No pictures I can deal with... if they still wont send them in a message then blocked!!!

Its the year old accounts (and older) that still have the same "new to this" profile with 30+ verifications

Do an update once in a while lol

Its peoples profiles and they can choose how to run it as they wish, the site gives you filters to use so just block folk with no pics and not worry about the ones with no pics

On a French site we belong to it’s mandatory to post three pictures on joining, sexy but not explicit.

After these more explicit can be posted in other folders and videos which are either pubic or private (which you can give people access to for between 1 and 24 hours or permanent).

It’s a good site similar to Fab.
