I've got all males showing as Who's near, yet in my profile I haven't ticked Looking for Males. Any ideas anyone?

You need to take men out of your message filters then your profile will say 'not looking for single men' and they won't show in your updates

I had this issue with the app, couldn’t figure out how to change it so just deleted it and just use the website.

When you click who is near,

At the top, it should have a button to filter by preference.

I'm pretty sure it's a punishment for not being a paying member. I remember seeing far less men whenever I had a subscription on.

You are lucky about the distances as most of the time when I look at who is near after the top 2/3 they are about 140/170 miles away.

You need to click on “See nearby who match your preferences” but you can only do that if you are a Site Supporter.

Alternatively, block every single male that comes up on your “Nearby” feed and then it will show women and couples (again, block either if not your thing).

But you will be very busy doing that! £5 for site supporter is best option.
