Keep seeing new accounts pop up, similar names, feedback etc what's to say this isn't the same person /people with multiple accounts? No pictures same locations etc how is this site really monitored! because let's be honest verification isn't the best (I know as I am verified and know how easy it is).. What are people thoughts on new accounts that look a tad shady? How do we really know if they are legit (I'm guessing we don't!).. Thoughts? Experiences?

Fab has gone to a total fail look in chatroom couple account lol so many hidden or over a year no pics/friends/profile updates report nothing...is anyone looking into the reports ?

We go to clubs, we try to go at least twice a month. When we started out we used to ask people for verifications but a) we don't bother anymore b) people say they're on here anyway.

So we mainly use fab to check club events. Over time we'll have fewer updates. Will that make us fake too?

It probably is the same people.

It's monitored by volunteers, how do you expect them to monitor the thousands of profiles, that's a hard task for anyone. It's the same for most sites/apps I suppose.

If you have a genuine concern that someone is fake etc then report it. I guess you just have to do you're due diligence and see what happens.

Block new profiles from contacting you via message filters and proactively block any profiles you're not happy with.

It's a free site that anyone can join with just an email address. What did you expect? 🤷‍♂️

I have linked to previous 10 accounts eventually blocked by fab from just 1 week possibly asking for photo id which he never gives but they have not asked for 4 days with me keep asking this muppet has been opening fake accounts every 6 hours for years again I report and link previous blocked account for a week nothing done still active total fail

Don't let it bother you so much. Just block them, and get on with enjoying the site as you wish.

There's always going to be fakes, everywhere in life.

Don't give them your time or attention just put your energy into enjoying your life and ignore them.

Unless someone is permanently banned from Fab, they're not wrong to have new accounts. Buyer beware, as we can all use filters to manage who we engage with

Report inappropriate behaviour to Admin always. They don't share what tools they use to block the wrong people, as this would give them ideas for how to work around them

Pretty easy to spot, especially if local. Plus we use Google reverse image search tool, typically can find new profiles have just used images off the net. We report them but nothing gets done, so we just block em.
