Tonight I wanted to message someone I know and just wanted to check something with, to discover that he's blocked single guys from messaging him. Understandable- there are so many that chuck messages left right and centre.

How many ladies have 40 or more messages a day? How many have 40 a day or more from unverified single men with zero-effort put in to their messages?

I'm sure this has been suggested before, but what if there was an option for you to only allow people with X number of verifications to message you? Maybe a slider to determine how many veris they need?

Might that screen out the low-effort time wasters?

I'm seriously considering emailing the site-managers with this if it is a useful idea (yes, I know website construction/modification is extremely expensive and time-consuming). I've had enough of being lost among the thousands of "hey babe" idiots.

I use a fair few filters, but still get the shadows occasionally sneaking in my dms.Instant delete.

I do get the one line bios who've made no effort and don't seem to realise the lack of effort, is leading to a lack of interest in them.

I don't get 40 messages a day though thankfully , due to said filters.

You can use the verified only mail filter, but I think it's includes the picture verification too.

If it was someone you know and you had messaged them before a filter would not stop you messaging again. If you have spoken on here before and now can't then they have blocked you directly with the block button.

You can choose unverified and it's a good potential idea to allow customisation of the number of them required as well as possibly within a recent timeframe, such as 1 year.

Wouldn't that narrow down the margin because not everyone uses the verification for potential meets in per location excluding new/those who've decided to come back after a break
