New winks, but no new winks

I had a notification that I had 1 new wink

Clock on winks, and there’s nothing showing

Why would that be?

I'm assuming site supporters can delete a wink, possibly anyone can, I don't know I've not tried it.

Have never experienced that.

Could it be they've winked and then hit block, in the same way a verification would vanish?

I get this sometimes....click on delete all winks even though none showing and it usually goes away....same as in messages folder which can throw up oddball messages.
