I was quite enjoying using it, good to have Fab outisde my usual browser. Changed phones, tried to get it again and there's no sign of a download possible anywhere now.

"There absolutely was and I still have it active on my old phone complete with an icon on my homepage."

I think you can add the icon to your home page. I've given you the link to the mobile site

Never was or will be an app. You cannot have adult content on an app.

I think it is more a google thing, it popped up on my phone once saying do you want to DL it and add it to your home page but it is the mobile option that it was adding.

There is not and never has been an app, you can add a shortcut to your home screen on your phone so you can click it open the fab mobile version of the site but there has never been a downloadable app.

It is just a shortcut on your home screen not an app.

It's a version of the mobile site that is downloaded separately. Basically runs in it's own browser. Very similar to the mobile vesrion, but no URLs at the top of the page and no constant asking for location permission.

Also doesn't show in your regular browser's history.

You can have apps with adult content, just not through Google. For example XNXX has an app which you can download direct from their site. The Fab app was advertised on the homepage within the last year, but seemingly no more.

If you're referring to seeing this at the top of the home page on the desktop version...."On Android? Fab is better on our new, free, Mobile Web App"....then it's just the mobile version and it does run in your normal browser and show in your history. Unless you're in incognito mode of course.

There's never been an app.

Where did you get the app? Which store did you download it from?

There isn't an app. It is just a shortcut to the mobile site that you can add to your home screen on your phone.

This is getting repetitive

There is no mobile application for Fab. You can save the website as an icon to your phone/home screen which will LOOK like an application, but it isn't actually one.

Also, you CAN have swinging apps on the stores. More than one competitor to Fab has it. I would put all my worldy possessions on Fab never doing one though.

It was downloaded from this site. Same as for example XNXX has a link on there's for an app.

It doesn't show up in my browser history at all. Basically the same as the mobile site but seemingly runs completely separately.

No it doesn't, it is simply the mobile site. All you did was add a shortcut to your phone screen. Even one of the site mods has told you this. There is and never has been an actual app.

We have Fab installed as a Google Chrome app. Unless you're looking at the original website you're most likely on the phone friendly version when you log in. You can either follow the Fab way of setting the webpage as short cut on your home screen or use the guide below to install Fab as a Chrome app. On your phone it will have a FAB icon, and launch with Fab as cover screen. You'll remain logged in unless you log out through the account panel. You do lose the URL's but can still grab them from the hyper links of names and forum posts if you want to share them.

"Here's a quick guide on how to install Fab as an app from Google Chrome.

To install a webpage as an app using Google Chrome, navigate to the desired website, click the three-dot menu (More) in the top right corner, and select "Install" or "Install page as app". If the website is a Progressive Web App (PWA), you might see an "Add to Home screen" option instead.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

1. Navigate to the website: Open Chrome and go to the website you want to install as an app.

2. Access the menu: Click the three-dot menu (More) located in the top right corner of the Chrome window.

3. Select "Install" or "Install page as app": Look for "Install" or "Install page as app" within the menu options.

4. Follow the prompts: Chrome will guide you through the installation process, which may include selecting a name for the app and choosing a shortcut location.

5. Progressive Web Apps (PWAs): If the website is a PWA, you might see an "Add to Home screen" option instead of "Install." Clicking this option will install the PWA as a standalone app on your device.

6. Desktop shortcuts: On a desktop, you can right-click the installed app in the taskbar to find shortcuts to features and settings, according to Google Help.

7. Android shortcuts: On Android, you can create shortcuts for websites on your home screen. Navigate to the website, tap the three-dot menu, and select "Add to Home screen".
