This has been asked for quite a few times, and it seems recently that the site operators are putting new features into the site at present - so would it possible to have the option to search on sexual orientation (Gay, Straight / Bi etc)?

I totally agree with this and don't understand why they don't, considering all the othd stuff you can opt for, smoking or not, accom or travel etc

It can only work if people actually put that they are bi on thier profile ....We get loads of mail from straight guys proclaiming "I Am Bi" ..... albeit we ignore those

we got Fabguys for Gay males, nowt for lesbians tho. most males on here are bi aint they if just orally bi so it seems but if one half of a couple dead straight and the other one bi where would that name go lol myself personally think it would be better if we had a choice of TV or TS not lumping them together because they deserve better and what about orally bi that cud be useful lol so many closet orally bis now lolol

There's no reason all those options and more couldn't be included in an updated profile and search setup. Yes people would need to update their profiles but that's hardly a time consuming chore. It wasn't a massive hassled for people to add postcodes.

I'm all for adding more detailed searches. It doesn't prevent anyone else searching on a simpler set of criteria.

As for fabguys that's for guys only. Not for male/female couples looking for guys. It also has no forums. So it's basically an emasculated version of this site (no pun intended).

Just an update

This is something we are working towards. We shouldn't have given a timescale last year because we have around 100 projects on the go and other stuff gets bumped.

We'll post to the forums when we have something for everyone to look at

We are disappointed though, that it is of more inportance to move the 'who looked at me' box on the mobile app to the top right of the screen, is given a higher priority than a 'sexuality' search box.

There are countless threads on here asking for this search function to be a priority. If it is going to take a while to sort out, can we arrange an interim measure? Can we please have our own forum? We would be more than happy to open a dialogue with yourselves on how this would work.

oh and while at i if a forum set up try seting it up so only those with bi or bi or bi curious for both of a couple and for singles be applied so that its relevant and not hijacked

Please tell us then, we are more than happy to be your Padawan learner. Come on then if its so easy. It would of been so much easier to help us Bi couples and the site owners, who are trying to work this out. You both could of posted on here how to do it! (BTW, if you reply with 'look for transvestites', then David wins a month of blowjobs, I hope that isn't your answer).

Another two votes/requests for a sexual pref search filter here too.

It's just barmy that it hasn't already been implemented on a site like Fab. To be honest, as is the forum software, the search engine is really rather clunky and outdated.

Contrary to some, I think that Admin does a fine job and you are all beutifull.. We all know Rome wasn't built in a day and it takes time for a site to evolve. xx

My pet hate at the moment is guys with straight on their profile, but they want to meet.

I want to block all straight males and only allow messages from bi and bi cur guys.

Yes, please sort this functionality out, much more use than telling us how far we are from other members when we could already search by postcode and distant.

May also stop people putting straight on their profiles when they play bi
