UX suggestions

A few features that might make sense—apologies if these have been suggested in the past already (most probably have).

• On the desktop site there’s “Photos by category”. Why no “Videos by category”?

• There appears to be a mismatch between categories and interests. E.g. Fisting is an interest, but not a category. Why?

• It would be nice to have ability to set a geographic range on photos and videos when looking in the various places where they are collectively displayed. E.g. Hot Videos within 20 miles of [location]

• I understand the necessity of set keywords when describing pictures/videos, but the ability to add one or 2 “non standard” keywords would open things up a bit.

• I’d like to be able to select more than one keyword when searching.

• The ability to filter Updates would be interesting. E.g. show only New Photos, or New Meets, etc..

• In the mobile site I’d like to be able to filter / change the displayed order of “Who’s Near”. For instance, set a maximum distance.

• Add an “on-line now” option to the Advance Search

• I’d like to be able to subscribe to / follow threads within Forums and/or whole Forums so when I log in I can see what’s been updated quickly and easily.

Thoughts re the pros and cons of the above?

Just to tackle one of these for you fisting and watersports can both be added as an interest but you can't add photos or videos of either of these activities to the site as they are banned therefore there is no point in having a category for them.

My personal thoughts on anything related to distance are these.

Distance/proximity bears no correlation to mutual interest/attraction. Just because someone is near it doesn't mean you'll be compatible. The advanced search option already gives you the ability to browse those within a certain distance so if your priority is to seek people closer to you then that's the best option. Some people sensibly also only post a vague location or postcode to hide where they actually live, so your search results will only ever be as accurate as the data used to generate them.
