Reporting

I was just wondering what it takes for a profile to be banned. I reported one who lied about being divorced and no children. I don't play with taken people which just told him, so he basically didnt have consent. Along with showing narcissistic tendenxies.

He also wanted to meet another woman with his child in the car.

I find it disappointing that there is no feedback from reporting and that you also can't upload evidence to back it up.

I'm not sure that lying about one's marital status and whether one has children or not is a sufficient reason for banning a profile.

"

He only had consent if he was single. If I could upload the messages etc I would.. to show he is a danger to woman for other reasons as well... but unfortunately the site doesn't let you.

One of the reasons why it's a good idea to stick to messaging here is that admin will be able to see the interaction between you if you report the profile

Lying about not being single isn't really not having consent. It wouldn't be illegal to do that so not really a reason to ban a profile.

Being married and saying that a person isn't, it's not really a reporting factor. More like use your filter and block because you decide not to engage with someone others might and it's both male/female everyone has a preference some agree some don't

Under matrimonial laws would be illegal 🤣 and grounds for divorce

You mean bigamy? This thread is widening the field.

OP, don't lose sleep over it. Did he trick you into having sex while claiming he was single, ready to mingle?

Sorry, you felt deceived, but I can't see any reportable offence either to the police or to this site.

Let him be. You have no reasons to report him, let alone grounds to ban him.

Adultery "

Bigamy is defined as marrying someone while already legally married to another person

Adultery is not a crime in the uk.

It has not been a crime since the Matrimonial Causes Act of 1857. Although yes it is grounds for divorce.

A M started a thread on here in which he physically threatened trans people. I reported him and the thread was removed but he’s still on here. It’s ridiculous.

Admin always take action.

Most of the time you won't know what action thay have taken.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

Admin

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

--

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
