"Yes please... We constantly get people who are 250+ miles away looking at us We are never going to meet them Never been near the area they are from We even had someone from the USA view us and send a message about meeting up!!! We need a max looking distance What harm does looking do? " Exactly as above, with out looking at a profile how can anyone know what someone is about or where they are ![]()

" It's not the looking... its the messages asking to meet aswell No harm in looking, I agree but when you get a look/wink the distance is still 300+ miles away and not local to the area There is no counter argument against having a setting to limit to how far my profile shows

At clubs and events where we've both travelled. One of my partners and I met a couple who live 1800 miles away this month. Distance isn't always an issue for some. On our couples profile if we get messages from people too far to be of interest we just delete them. Simple as that and the volume of said messages is literally a handful a month.

We might have a peep about to see who's going to be local and arrange something ahead of time...if we're compatible, we might have some nice times but we'd be filtered out... You'd either have to make it so people's location is fixed or if its changeable, then they'd just change it to get round your filters...it's why you can't filter smokers, or sexuality...they can change so people have to have the ability to do that, but then they can just use that to get round them...
