Is it alright to suggest that users who have been on the site for over a year and are fully verified can get an upvote/down vote button for profiles who are genuine vs time wasters?

The fact that profiles are reported for time wasting is fine, but the fact you aren't allowed to name and shame allows them typically to continue the activity.

Genuine or trusted users should be allowed to contribute to a rating system to either recommend or warn other users about other profiles.

I appreciate this could be open to abuse, but it would greatly benefit the site if there were more honest feedback on profiles than simply meet verifications.

Just let Admin investigate, after users report anyone. And keep the onus on individuals to take due caution, as well as keeping communication largely inside of Fab, so that Admin have near full data, to help with their job. They always investigate.

Adding more things to the site, risks complication and deflection of responsibility away from each of us, to take due diligence as well as to report issues with users.

It must be really tough for Admin to try to filter out the wrong people, who may get banned etc and to try to attempt to rejoin.

Until someone says no and the other person gets pissed off. Same reason naming and shaming isn't allowed, it's too easy to bad mouth someone when they've done nothing wrong.

Time waster maybe for one but could be a genuine reason why it didn't lead any further

Found someone better more appealing

Time is only wasted if a person finds it difficult to move on
