Do you think it would be a good idea if fab implemented something where somebody can message you and then would have to wait for you to reply before they can message you again?

Then once you have replied the first time they can message you normally after?

I think this would be a good way of stopping you lot getting messaged multiple times from the same fellas that you don’t want to talk to.

It is easy to ignore messages. I don't even bother deleting them.

For the record and for what it may or may not be worth the 'drama' around women receiving messages is perpetuated by a certain mindset and totally unnoticed by another mindset.

I think it would be a good idea, as some have multiple profiles, so they end up still appearing again and messaging from elsewhere even after you block them. 🙄

Anything that restricts men from messaging women is a good thing don't you think

My personal opinion is that it would be a good idea for people who are bothered by repeat messages from someone they have interest in, to block that person. The tools are there.

I think it's ok as it is & it's easier to spot the desperate multi messagers/copy and paste to block them.

What the OP is suggesting wouldn't help at all in that case

Of course it still does, before I can get round to blocking them off it still stops them sending the next 99 messages one after the other! 🙄

As an example: you could be logged on just chatting to a mate and then you'll be getting numerous messages one after the other because they can see you online.

Shouldn't have to stop conversations with one person to go off and block others.

maybe they should have an icon you can press to show people you're offline when you're chatting to friends?

The one that prevents single males at least...

I'd use it and probably set a default stop of a day or so, before allowed repeats

I delete all unwanted messages unread. I would use the feature OP suggests though. It would need to be effective for all profile types though.

Its easy for messages to get lost amongst others and once they slip off the first page its almost impossible to find them, so I'm saying no.

I don’t mind the idea just can’t see it working though as sometimes I do find it hard to keep up with messages so sending one again to bump themselves up may help the man but on the other hand you’ve got the people who want to send 10 separate messages everytime your online so it’s a hard one I’m fine with just ignoring till they get the hint to be honest x
