I've just come back from a long hiatus and also noticed the subject titles in messages have gone.

There seems to be quite a lot of posts in a similar vein so hopefully Fab admins will take on board the feedback and bring them back again.

Some didn't like the change. Others were sceptical. Many now like the change.

In my mind there's little difference. You can still see the first line in a preview, so if there's a need to put a magic word you can do it in the first line of a message. And any messages sent off the back of a forum post have the thread listed.

I am happy that they have gone. There really is no need for them as the replies are the same and perhaps makes people read the actual message contents rather that judge a message on its subject line
