Why are privacy features lockef behinf gold/silver?

I want to remove my picture from a message I sent. When I click the link it takes me to the site supporter page.

This is a basic feature to protect our privacy. Why do I need to pay £5 for this???

Its a pretty worthless feature.

If the recipient wishes to they can download or screenshot it before fab deletes it

Only 100% secure / private picture is one thats not taken

Fab is a business, it monetises certain features that encourage folks to pay

Most of the monetised features (for me anyway)aren't worthwhile

Certain things are available to site supporters only. The ability to delete pictures once a message has been read being one.

Delete the picture from your gallery and phone, I believe that deletes it at the recipients end too.

Be aware as others have said that it's possible to copy or screenshot before it's deleted anyway. The only sure way to avoid this is never to send pictures that might compromise you.

If you delete the photo you sent from your gallery, it will delete it in the message that was sent.

You dont have to pay to use the site, if they arent worthwhile to you then you dont need to pay you can still use the site

The best possible way to preserve your privacy is to not send the photo in the first place. That is the only gold plated, cast iron guarantee of privacy available. Even if you did pay the membership fee - the person to whom you sent the photo may have already screenshotted it / saved it before the site can remove it, so you are still knackered.
