Red Flags

With what appears to be an increase in reports of fakes I think it would be an idea to have a red flag where currently there is no green flag verifying the true status of profiles:

Everyone joining (or currently without a green flag) starts with a red flag. This is turned green upon admin verification. Much easier to notice than a 'no flag' scenario.

To me, no flag is a red flag!

What say you?

"To me, no flag is a red flag!"

I think you have your answer right there, so no change needed.

Green flags are issued when members photo verify themselves. Green ticks when they're verified by others.

An absence of one or both indicates that something hasn't happened. Yet.

Everyone starts out the same. People aren't obligated to photo verify and there are users on site who never have or will, yet have multiple verifications from others. What use do you think a red flag would be on their profiles?

The point I was making is that the flag system just relates to photo verification, which isn't compulsory.

Most people are more concerned with a green tick as that indicates someone has either met them in person or seen them on camera.

The system has worked the same way since the site began.

And you can tick that they must be verified when searching or receiving messages. And add in verified by meet in your search.

If you save your search results it means you are just looking at those people who you want to see.

That'll be 'no' then.

It's unfortunate.

Particularly as the quote "The system has worked the same way since the site began." would suggest there's no room for improvement.

Canny tips though.

I wouldn't consider that an improvement.

If people really are giving profiles such cursory glances before engaging with them that they fail to notice if they have been photo verified or not, why should the site have to add additional measures?

Red flag is the term used when talking about people and things to avoid so by adding one to a profile that hasn't been photo verified it becomes an advisory to avoid and would include all those who have been here for years and are not photo verified.

Adding a red tick for those not verified by meet would have a similar effect.

The verification will still show in the verification summary.

Mods can't implement any suggestions so it was an answer from the Mod from a personal point of view.

Your suggestion is in the right place for the site owners to see, if they do want to add the feature they will post a thread to let us know.

To the OP, I would say it is easy to notice if someone has a green flag or not so a red flag wouldn't make any difference to me when looking at profiles.

As another has said, you can search for verified profiles, so it will work for you that way if you only want to see verified profiles

What he's trying to say is that, if your suggestion was implemented, someone might not be photo verified and therefore have a red flag displayed on their profile. However that same person (who has now been "red flagged" and implies that they should be avoided) may have many "in-person" verifications that show they are indeed real. And as RB points out, if you're only giving profiles such a cursory glance, all you will see is a red flag and dismiss those profiles.

Personally, we always look for a green flag and for green ticks. If both are absent and the profile is more than a few months old then we will likely block as getting photo verified is so quick and easy we cant see why anyone wouldn't do it. If there are just personal verifications we check by who. Some verifications come from obviously fake accounts, deleted or hidden accounts. Finally we want to meet people so if all verifications are by cam then its the block button. These are the red flags for us!

Exactly. We’ve been on this site almost since it started. Never bothered getting photo verified at the start and now we’ve got plenty of verifications so what’s the point? A red flag would not be a true reflection of our profile and status.

A green flag or a few veri s is usually enough for me.

Biggest red flag for Mr other than no veri or flag is multiple bareback photos with different women who may not have consented to those pics bring on here. If a couple I get that.

The other is straight into "I will do this, x, y and z to you BABE" makes my skin crawl.

As does ugly cock cumming videos. Thick sticky/lumpy cum..

But each to their own

What difference would it make? Plenty of fakes with a green flag.

Yes this…. I’ve been verified in person but never actually gotten photo verified, I just can’t be bothered doing it so technically I would have a red flag but hopefully if people reading my profile would be able to see that I’m a real person
