Some indicator that you have interacted or messaged someone before would be cool. Handy to not annoy people.

When you click on a profile it tells you at the top if you have messaged before or if they've messaged you.

When you click on somebody’s profile it says at the top if you have messaged or winked them and vice versa. I also sometimes use the notes section on profiles where you can record your own private notes about a person which only you can see. Then i can check the notes if i want to interact in the future or they contact me.

Of course you also have message history often too as a site supporter.

So there are a few ways to know. Or just block if they are of no interest to you.

Must be different on phone, but yeah,click message user and it tells you at the top in big bold writing hahaha. I'm half blind. Thanks again

I believe this only applies if you are a site supporter.

One thing though, OP, is that if you have messaged before and not had a reply, the site will let you know this if you go to message them - similar to when it does if messaging someone whose filters you might fall outside of but they haven't blocked such people form messaging

Message history is not accessible via the contact directly, you have to find them in your inbox, this is a major faff

For site supporters there’s also a notification icon on the profile
