Why can't a profile change status from single to couple or so? Life changes happen and profiles should be left change. Just makes sense.

Why not just start a couples profile on another email address.

Often if you are verified as a single male that is the normal advice anyway.

You're photo verified as a single male if you changed your profile to a couple of would appear that you were photo verified as such. That would be misleading.

Contact admin or set up a couples profile with a new email address.

You lose all verifications though then. We pay more than enough to be site supporters so these things should be considered especially nowadays.

I have changed from a couple back to single in the past. I just messaged admin and asked them to change my profile over and they did. They did remove pics with my exs face in obviously but left mine and i kept my veris. Obviously that was a few years ago now but they will do it and have in the oast changed a single profile to a couples for me when i got into a relationship. So just ask them.

It's very easy to set up a second account as a couple using a different email address.

If I received a message from a couple who had multiple verifications as a single male I wouldn't respond.

I have received messages from couples recently who had 50+ verifications as a single woman and I didn't respond to them either because as far as I was concerned they weren't what they were representing themselves as.

If we were able to change profiles ourselves, how many people would use it to get around filters?

For example I have all men blocked from messaging but if a man decided he wanted to message and it was possible for him to do so he would just change his profile to a couples one and bypass that filter.

I'd say if you change your status, then you should have a new profile rather than changing the old one.

Were your verifications for the couple you currently are? If not, those verification are irrelevant and given your verifications are hidden, it could be argued that it would be deliberately misleading to carry those forward to a couple's profile
