I think it'd be very good as an opt in button, do not reply privately from threads.

(I'd opt out, because I like the creeps to out themselves so I can block them

)

It’s a double edged sword because I’ve made some really good friends on the back of private forum replies.

It’s really annoying when people who haven’t taken part in a thread send inappropriate private remarks. They must surf the forums looking for someone to message
