I see admin have closed the disclaimer post but com I just point out a major privacy issue with some profiles.

Those that post phone numbers on their profiles should take note that if someone were to google that number there is a good chance you will get results from it.

A few weeks back friends on here posted an ad on gumtree for their missing dog. Some idiot replied to the ad and sent abusive texts etc. I typed his number into google and with a little more research found out the area he lived,what car he drove and an alternate mobile number for him.

So for those with mobile numbers on your profile, take admin's advice and remove them.

Good point.

Also if you have concerns use your "privacy" page from the "my account" page which lets you hide your account from unregistered users which should also stop it showing up on google etc.

yep thats a good idea i did privacy page when i joined site, cos I DONT WANNA BE GOOGLED, it could be painful lol . Have a good weekend ppl

thanks for the tips on privacy, naively we didn't realise that unless you opt out you can end up being googled, sorted now though, so thanks for the tip

We have been "googled" and ive had people try to add me as a friend on f/b as a result of their search as we are on other sites... Scary really as we only use f/b for our family and friends outside swinging xx

Obviously someone would have to know your username to google you in the first place, but many people use the same name on several sites, some swinging, some vanilla so a quick google could lead to several site profiles. So, always check any privacy settings on all sites your members of.

Having the same username on adult sites and vanilla sites is a REALLY BAD IDEA.
