Multi Photo Upload

Im sure this feature existed once, maybe im making that up.

BUT, how would we fell about having a multi photo upload option.. not sure how it would work from a confirmation aspect but thats the developers job to work out..

Frustrates me doing one pic at a time.. also the time frame for video upload of in person verified, photo verified and site subscribers should be negated.

Thoughts?

You are correct, it used to be possible to upload more than one at same time.

My guess is that they switched off the feature as many were taking the piss and uploading too many at a time adding to storage needs and perhaps more importantly the job of volunteer pic moderators.

But you're uploading the same amount, same 8 a day restriction applied. Guess theres a reason but not sure it's that.

I'd just assumed I couldn't do it now because I use my phone and not desktop.

I would guess its more likely to do with the verification process of person and explicitly

It could be down to reducing the cost of the system. It may cost more to have a system that allows multiple uploads. Someone is running FAB as a business and wants to return a profit ( the bigger the better)

Yes true if the limit was the same - I can't remember. Saying that having is spread out rather than blasted in one go probably a lot easier for photo mods.

I'm actually glad it is limited as fear local update section would end up getting spammed a bit.
