Closing Threads???

I was just reading a topic..and it was closed almost instantly with Mod saying..

Can't be arsed keeping an eye on this thread!!

Is this what "moderaters" are for...???

...it was to stop the thread descending into nastiness....as would have most defintely happened with the 'fat' thread I think you are refering to.

But that is an HUGE assumption, would it not be easier just to BAN the topic?

....an assumption yes i agree....but it was already heading that way and I just took it as a pre-emptive action.

I saw no evidence of what your saying...the MOD clearly jumped the gun...there was no niggling or insulting words what so ever...just over sensitive mods I think?
