Just downloaded IE v8 and it seems to be ok so far.

Only one problem that I've found so far as IE 8 vs Fabs is concerned - the "Go to Newest Post in Thread" feature no longer works. Home and End keys do the same job but that means I have to put myself out and lean forward in my chair to operate the keyboard lol

Seriously though - any ideas why this might be ?

Oh also all our smilies, the EDIT button, the Thanks but No thanks button have all gone as well ...

Eh ? What do you mean we never had them in the first place ? Nice try, but you can't fool me .....

you have the option somewhere in IE8 to auto update the "compatibility site list"(sites that need it to run in compatability mode)not sure where it is after install but you get asked during install
