Lost Verifications

I know that this has been brought up numerous times. Is there no way when a person or persons leave a verification that it stays with the person who the verification was made out for.

In my time with fab i have received 16 verifications but only 6 can be viewed due to the people leaving.

If somebody leaves a comment on a thread and leaves that comment stays on with the comment 'No longer on site'.

Can this not be the same.
