Private Notes.

'Private Notes' do not seem to be listed on the upgrade page as one of the benefits of buying a silver or a gold site supporter upgrade, but they are, as the feature isn't available to free accounts - at least last time I checked (maybe you should add them to the list of perks as it's a useful system for someone like me with mild OCD!).

My question is, if you have an upgrade for x amount of days and then you accidentally let it lapse, do those 'Private Notes' get wiped or does your ability to view them simply get locked? In other words if you upgrade again after a small break, will the notes you have previously saved still be there and once again accessible?

I find the feature very useful for keeping a record of things like if a meet went particularly well or if it went particularly badly, rather than just blocking a person, I can leave notes and make an informed decision at a later date as to whether I want to try again with that person based on what's noted. So if I end up with a note that lists two or three dates that they have cancelled a meet, I know then to block them and update the note to reflect that they're a time waster.

It's also useful if you block people and then forget why six months down the line. You can view the note and remind yourself of what they've done to warrant a block.

It's a great system. I'm just curious how it works if your supporter upgrade lapses accidentally, for let's say a couple of days.

Thank you in advance x

The notes are retained. Just your ability to view/edit them is locked until your supporters membership is renewed. Also you can’t make new notes whilst a free member.
