What's the point of having a "save message" option if they end up being deleted by Fab?

Fab doesn't delete saved messages as I use them with the group message settings which is like a folder

Part of mine have completely disappeared. Their chat is there, well part of it and mine has gone.

Just realized the message thread is incomplete, but their saved message is at the top .

I thought by pressing save it saves the whole thread

It does when you use group message settings. It's a handy tool for reading back
