dont know if this has been done before i had a quick look but couldnt find anything.

we would like to see a choice of sexuality on the search functions. when we look for single men for example we would prefer to be able to only search for straight males as it cuts out loads of wasted time sifting through all the profiles that are no good.

is this something that is going to be added at all?

I posted in this forum a while back about key word search, so that I could look for BBW's but this could work for you as well?

Yes, sometimes I am looking specifically for a bi/bi curious single guy to meet with me and a friend and its a pain trawling through profiles. I appreciate quite a few will put straight when they are bi, but it would definitely be a useful tool.

lot of "straight" men who have that on their profile are bi and only say so when ya get to know them well and they trust you. They are so damn scared the only thing is that we are beginning to think every time we see a male who has "straight" on profile we wonder????

so would not work on these ones

True, quite a number of people it seems can't make up their mind whether they are straight, bi or gay... a couple I know the guy was "bi-curious" .. then he was full on bi.. but when a couple they were after said they were not interested in bi guys, he suddenly turns straight.. funny as he loves "monday night clubs" lol.

i think its good that you can browse by gender instead of sexuality. not everyone is totally gay/straight/bi. some people just wanna test the water and rightly so.

its a good thing. people should be more open and honest and approach people regardless of their sexuality if they want to have sex with them. We are no longer offended if we are asked the 'are you straight/gay' question. and rightly so.

i think sexuality is a bit old fashioned. we should practice speaking to each other more and asking the question 'do you like men?'.

'browse by sexuality' might be convenient for people who are totally gay/straight but humans dont have 'sexualities' they just wanna go with whoever they like. if it happens to be a man/woman it dosent really matter as long as its safe.

??????? Why not be able to browse by either way? Why limit browsing just by your opinion? Just maybe there are some others out there that prefer to browse in another manner that suits them and not you! It's called freedom of choice!!! And that my friend is "rightly so"

I'd argue that your wrong as my sexuality is straight. As I don't want to play with men and aren't attracted to men at all. Seems a bit of a daft thing to say. Xx

Its an interesting discussion and very revealing because browsing by gender allows married people to play too especially if their partners are not understanding of gay/bi people.

if you clicked on a profile and it said 'you cant message this person because they are straight' its a bit like saying 'you cant use these scissors because you are left handed'. you can still use the scissors and see if they fit your hand;) (wierd analogy but similar I cant think of a better one its too early in the morning!)

I think a swinging site is where people go to experiment with their sexuality and fanatasies. if browse by sexuality were implemented then it would make it very very restrictive and fabswingers wouldnt be as popular, imho.

But then again it's the same with age that you can block people out if your age range so what your saying seems very silly at least.

if you want a man you want. if you want a woman you want a woman. does it matter what sexuality they are? i think you should browse by gender not sexuality. ive met men who lead otherwise straight lives and on this site gives them a chance to explore their bi side. browsing by gender and not sexuality gives people the oppourtunity to be as gay or straight as they like. sexuality dosent really come into it. its who you fancy that matters not whether or not they are classed as gay/straight etc.

in reality most people are a 'bit bisexual' its just society dosent really recognise it. a lot of men/women play who would otherwise be seen as 'straight'.

browsing by gender makes more sense. its the way forward

Nobody is trying to take away the way searches are being done now, they are only suggesting MORE alternatives to be ADDED to the way we search NOW!!!
