Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I call them 'weekend specials'. Someone comes in d*unk after the pub, decides to sign up for a look at whats going on, then when the hangover hits they decide to delete.

I am pretty sure that a site that is free does not need to make up fake profile. The members manage quite well enough on their own.

I notice a infix after pubs close on a Friday night, and accs deleted on Saturday. Nothing to do with admin creating fake accounts, more to do with people thinking this site is about an instant shag

If you really believe that the admin team have the time to make up false accounts on a masssive site like this then you're the sort of person that needs to wear a tin foil hat to stop aliens reading your mind

What it the motivation to create a false account? its a free site? its huge,it does'nt need bumping up with numbers to make it look good

+100!

For every 20 that join I reckon about 1 will be my version of genuine, knows you have to take time to find right people and swinging is as much about the social element of getting to know different people.

The other 19 think being on a swingers site will guarantee them a shag and when they don't have a que of horny woman banging their door down in first few hours, think we're all 'fakes' and bugger off.

I also think I'm being very generous with the numbers lol

Also, if it's a female profile which vanishes quickly, it's probably because she got inundated with 200 inbox messages on her first day! I joined then left immediately, twice, just because my inbox was immediately swamped, both times.

The third time I joined, I had to grit my teeth and just resolve to delete the 'pounce on the new girl' messages, just to get me through my first week, until I had worked out how to set filters etc.

Don't pounce on the new girls - that only scares them away! Give them chance to settle in, then they're more likely to stay

It would be better if the default for new accounts, certainly for new single fems, was everything filtered, with an explanation of how to turn the filters off, once you've had a little time to settle in!

There should def be a way of stopping new members bein swamped. Maybe like what was mentioned before. Even a restriction on new member doin too much to start with, maybe for te first 24 hours?

The ones who appear then disappear are more likely to be either

A) Pissed

B) made up a profile when the wife went out and deleted it when she came back in again.

Why on earth would Admin make up fake profiles and delete them again ? Seems to me that would be a pointless waste of their time. If they were going to make up fake profiles surely they'd leave them there and not take them down again a day later - what would be the point in that ?????

I'd echo all the other messages about protecting newbies from being swamped.

Even something as simple as blocking messages for the first 24 or 48 hours unless the new member has initiated contact.

Or make the filters a part of the sign up process (they only take a minute to set up) with an explanation that they can be changed at anytime.

The option to browse new women doesn't help the newbies either.

I can imagine that search is probably very popular.

TOTALLYfed-up with the timewasters, fakes and hoaxers. Had so much of our precious time together wasted, and when I play on my own these days (which is now most of the time) it still happens. Its difficult enough to set-up a genuine meet, without the muppets getting involved and spoiling the fun!!!

Rich.

If it goes wrong as often as it sounds you might want to consider how you go about selecting people?
