So, it turns out I cannot verify someone because I am outside their range filter!

This needs to be changed. I have chatted to this person twice so I know they are genuine. Also I told them I would verify them, so now I just look rude!

To the site owners, this needs changing.

Just because I do not meet someone's "criteria" should still be able to verify them if I choose to.

But that could lead to unwanted veri's.

Could you not ask them to message you? I do believe if they messaged you it would then allow you to verify.

Unless I’m wrong you can’t verify someone just because you’ve chatted to them a couple of times. It has to be a physical meet or you’ve seen them on cam.

Why can’t you just message them and explain their age restrictions are blocking your veri?

How were u able to chat to them and arrange to chat on cam if you cant message them on here?

Solution: they change their age range while on cam with you, you verify them, they change it back.

Your specific edge case is not anything admin need to change the site to accommodate.
