When browsing the profiles it would be great if we could have a search parameter to filter out people who will/won't meet smokers. As a smoker I find it irritating to be presented with a list of possibles only to end up trawling through the profiles looking for those who will meet smokers. It would be far easier if those who won't meet smokers could be filtered out.

As it comes up on the essential information section on profiles, alongside age parameters, it seems somewhat silly to not be able to filter for smokers/non-smokers too.

Except of course many will bend their preference on this depending on the person they contact of who messages them.

Some are flexible - for others it's a deal breaker!!!

I think it's like all preferences/filters - used by some to minimise the volume of messages received but sometimes people will bend their own 'rules'.

Yes, I know, but from a searching point of view I will always close a profile straightaway when I see the 'Wont meet smokers' tag. It's the first thing I look for on a profile after age restrictions.

We've had meets with people who won't meet smokers yet I smoke, for some people it's just ticking a box for others it's a real issue

yep, its definately there in advanced search....show only smokers......show only non smokers...show people who will meet smokers

i have given up smoking cos of health reasons but i bend the rules occasionally we all do its no hassle when someone messages you for a meet to quick check down their profile i do that anyway. Mind you if your the one looking for the meets its the same thing really

I clearly put I'm a smoker because I don't wish to go all evening without and would hate for anyone to feel mislead at all. I have met people that don't smoke and people that say they won't meet smokers only to light up the minute they realise we are fine with it

Considering how many folk we have met who put that they don't smoke on their profile , and then smoke when we meet it's a bit of a myth really !

There are some though that really won't meet smokers and it would be good to have the option to block them !

i agree with that but when pl come here they canny smoke in house because i have oxygen cylinders around but all my mates and relatives who smoke and fab mnates pop into front porch to light up they dont mind
